Mavericks in Education™ Florida LLC opens offering out-of-the-box solutions to serve the at-risk and dropout high school student community.

Dwyane Wade, nationally recognized NBA Miami Heat super-star, teamed up with Mavericks in Education Florida LLC because he cares about the future of every young person. Dwyane recognizes that a high school diploma is essential to realizing the American dream.

On and off the court, Dwyane Wade continues to show exceptional leadership as a father, husband and a community leader. Dwyane’s commitment to this largely over-looked area of education is commendable and inspiring.

Through Mavericks High, D. Wade's Schools, Mavericks will deliver “Next Generation Education Solutions.” Our schools are being designed and developed specifically to focus on at-risk and dropout students who need to earn a high school diploma, find employment and prepare for continuing education.

Our intentions are to support the public and private education system by helping to educate and graduate high school dropout students across our communities and our state. We see Dwyane Wade as someone who can draw attention to this silent epidemic and recruit students to rejoin an academic system that is designed uniquely for them.

Mavericks’ leadership believes firmly that a blended academic program that includes both electronic multimedia curriculums along with paper-based curriculum provides the most challenging and effective academic program for the students we serve.
